Rachel Widdows (MMedSci; BA Hons; Member of RCSLT and HCPC).

Rachel studied languages at university before obtaining a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy in 2010. She gained experience working with children and adults in the NHS, including working in a community neuro rehabilitation setting, which sparked an interest in neuro rehabilitation. She has since continued to work in this field, working with adults with communication disorders resulting from brain injury for over 10 years, such as aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, cognitive communication disorders, as well as swallowing difficulties.

She aims to take a holistic approach to supporting people in reaching their goals, and loves to celebrate all wins, big or small.

She loves being outdoors, whether walking or jogging with the dog; continuing to learn languages; and time with family and friends.
