Rebecca is a Bobath Trained neurological specialist rehabilitation physiotherapist with over 25 years experience. She specialises in treatment of complex polytrauma, brain injury and spinal cord injured clients and other neurological rehabilitation. She enjoys utilising a combination of treatments including FES, hydrotherapy, splinting, vestibular rehab and hands on treatment in order to ensure clients achieve their goals.
She undertakes regular training with technologies such as robotics, FES and current applications for rehabilitation. She enjoys attending meetings of special interest groups ACPIN/MLACP/SYABIF and their seminars on a regular basis including national and international courses to ensure best evidenced based practice.
She believes that liaisons with case managers, solicitors and wider members of the multi -disciplinary team is key to optimising outcomes for clients. She provides high quality treatment plans and recommendation reports for complex injuries with use of outcome measures and goals in order to monitor and maintain motivation and focus.
